Can I safely assume that once deployed a Sympl server will look after all security updates … a quick squint at apt sources suggests it might well not require manual intervention, but just checking as I couldn’t quite decipher the scripts. I will have a few ‘unmanaged’ instances to look after if not … so any specific or general advice appreciated. I am sure in the old symbiosis days it was a little bit hit or miss (but maybe it was only the non security ones would mount up?)

Security updates are automatically installed. Other updates need to be done manually.

Good, thanks for reminding me of that (I had read that once before …)

should have just looked in /var/log/unattended-upgrades/
