Dovecot SNI error message
I got an email from Cron Daemon (root) containing:
/etc/cron.hourly/sympl-mail-dovecot-sni:
cat: /dev/shm/sympl-mail-dovecot-sni.data: No such file or directory
There are lots of entries in /var/log/mail.log like this:

Thunderbird was stuck trying to retrieve mail (I think the above log entries were from that)
mutt complained about an unrecognised certificate, and I told it to accept it; it worked after that.
My Android tablet and phone with K9 mail weren’t bothered at all.
(Edit: My wife said there were errors on her iPad when connecting to mail, but I haven’t seen an example yet.)
Environment
- Sympl Version 10.0
- Sympl Testing Version? No
- Debian Version Stretch
- Hardware Type? Virtual
- Hosted On? BitFolk
The only other change I’ve made on the server this afternoon was to add a subdomain to a web site, including an SSL certificate for the subdomain, a procedure that usually causes no trouble.
